Coilovers for EG for autocross
From your experience which coilovers have worked well for your EG for autocrossing?
Also, what spring rates are you using?
I am looking for a coilover setup not a mix-match spring/shock combo.

Just about all off-the-shelf coilovers are going to have a front-biased setup - meaning the spring rates are higher in the front. Most in here will tell you that's not the way to go. On a lot of setups you can swap the springs. Even better would be if you could specify the rates when buying them.
I would definitely make sure that whatever you buy can be serviced in this country. Something that has independent height and preload adjustment is nice as well. You might want to state what your price range is... I think Zeal and Buddy Club are two to start with.

I was thinking about the Buddy Club coilovers. My concern was the front-biased setup as you mentioned.
There was a recent post regarding switching the springs from front to rear with good results.

i run RG (Racing Gear) coilovers with 12k/10k (670f/580r) spring rates. this is for a EG in SM. This setup coupled with a 22 and 26 mm rear bar and cornerweight is very competitive.

rodney, dont you mean you RAN?
lol.... or do you still get to drive the car you sold?
crap, even off the shelf GC's and Konis were okay for me to get 1st and a couple of 2nds and 3rds in SM here. I cant wait until I try a stiffer setup, maybe I'll even try some swaybars too

Nobody likes the H&R or Koni coilovers (both using koni's)? Also, any ideas on what the highest spring rates one could run without being obnoxious as a daily-driver? I'm willing to sacrifice a decent amount of comfort, but I also don't want people to avoid riding in my car like a plague
