soda bottle...other than that $40 is about as cheap as they come, I think Summit makes a generic one that's like the Jazz can.

The Moroso can is $35 from summit, not sure why everyone acts like that is a lot of money, especially considering how much we have all spent on our cars.

i want a GReddy ($83 from optauto.com), but i need something temporary right now, so $5 for now on some PVC and some barb fittings is fine by me....... kinda funny to think about it, nearly $20k spent under my hood, and i've got a $5 ghetto *** catch can

I actually have a plastic fuel filter inline between the valvecover and IM on my B20. It works quite well actually. I have pics, but nowhere to host them. $1.99, replaceable. simple.

I don't remember the Moroso can being only $35... This $68 one is what most people use. http://store.summitracing.com/global.../mor-85470.jpg . This is a good can which comes with a baffle that most other catch cans dont.

It depends on WHY do you need a catch can? If you simply want to prevent oil from entering the IM and release crankcase pressure, just go do a open loop. It costs nothing more than a length of hose, which you will need anyway regardless with method (open or close loop) to use.

Strange, I remember only paying $35 for it from summit. Of course, my memory is slipping in my old age

Seriously, just go down to your local ricers r' us and look at the fuel filters. They all have at least an inlet and an outlet. They are compact. They are cheap. They are replaceable. They work.

Does this unit have a drain, or is this just going to be temporary. It looks too nice to be temporary...

so the catch can is connected to the valve cover thing on one side and where does the other side go to?

ive been thinking of doing one like this my self. Did u use screw caps or did u glue them on? How did u create a baffle for it.

Where's the vent? Or is one of the nipples the vent?

there is no vent, for where i need it on my H22, there is a direct hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake manifold

as for the the other nipple on the valve cover, like on the B series, i have a small K&N style filter on it.
