I know this is a newb question , but i have spent 2 hrs searching and come up with bugger all, even in the post pics thread, as i only have 56k access.

Basically i have an EG Si (EDM EG5 ESi) and have been offered a set of decent GSR (EDM DC2 Si) alloys for around $350 with mint tyres, but havent been able to photoshop em on properly, or find any pics, both net wide and on here. Someone swiped my old ones, and i want OEM wheels to keep the insurance sensible, plus there a good deal and fairly light (~16lb IIRC)

Can anyone point me to a few decent pics of EG hatches, prefferebaly blue and/or dropped 30mm, if they are out there, on unpainted GSR wheels, as i am buying them next week and would like to see what they look like. Sure they look good, as i like the rims anyway.

didnt know whethere to use here or apperance, but thought id try the EG section as i hoped you boys would have a bit more sympathy and help out an owner in need

cheers for the links guys, but i am after standard unpainted 94-95 gsr rims on EG hatches, and none of the pics are quite right, all painted or different rims

Come on surely someone still has unpainted rims out there, whats the deal with the painting, think they look better shiny myself

Is it worth sticking a post in apperance or is double posting a flamer?

lolz... i jsut got a set from a old friend of mines for $240 with brand new michelin's. the rims are slitghtly curbed from the previous owner because my friend didnt put it on his car yet.

over all i think it looks nice when your car is slammed(or really low). mines look ok i guess cause i didnt slam mines as much, i didnt want to sacrifice the comfortness.

 

that's one clean *** hatch there...

Should look good as GSR's (well teg Si) wheels are pretty rare over here as the DC2 was only available on import until the ITR came out in 98, so there arent many about, probably a couple of hundred, and even fewer hatches with their rims.

If theres a blue hatch out there with em on i would still like to se it, but i get the rims in a week so i should be able to hold out

 

SI's dont need any wiring b/c they already have vtec. If your using an ECU that looks for a knock sensor, you'll have to run a knock sensor wire(i had to at first b/c i was using a GSR ecu--P72)
If the ECU you'll be using is OBD2, you'll need an OBD1/OBD2 converter harnesss. I'm using a chipped P28 which is OBD1.
If you get an ECU chipped i reccommed Kenji here on H-T, he does very good work with both ECU chipping and also converter harnesses.

 

got rid of those wheels 2 days ago though

BUT i got some primo condition LS wheels with good tread life left!

 

spend about the same amount of cash and get some rota's
