What does the -S3- stamp on my tranny stand for?

I'm pretty sure my tranny is a Y1, so I was wondering it's stamped S3. I always see it when I'm under the car. Thanks.

When I'm underneath the car, looking up, it's right on the bottom of the casing.

the two trannies i've got to look at have their designation stamp above the passenger axle. the d series is the thread i sent you and the b series i've got says ysk 1
