3 inch V.s. 2 1/2 inch exhaust on a SOHC

Just wondering what you guys think out there on a thermal 3inch exhaust system on a d16y8 turbo civic with greddy kit or Would the 2 1/2 inch catback exhaust be better?

just get the TR&D with a 3" cat ... or testpipe. CzanSOHC bought one and posted up pics. looks really nice.
