2.5" vs 2.75" vs 3.0" Exhaust/DP sizing...

2.5" vs 2.75" vs 3.0" Exhaust/DP sizing...
Ok. Right now I have the stock 92-95 Greddy SOHC DP, along w/ a straight back 2.5" exhaust. The exhaust is rattling and leaking (somewhere), so I'm going to have a new mandrel bent exhaust made.
How much of a difference would I feel between the 2.5" I have now, as compared to a 2.75"/3"? Am I going to have to upgrade the DP in order to do it, or will this still help? Am I going to spike w/ 3", and is it going to sound like crap? How much spooling difference, and would it even be worth it on my ZC/T?

bigger the dp and exhaust the faster you will spool wich will give you a
