Default turbo guys please help me out!! thanks

alright i went to install my linline pump today. and it wasn't to bad, but the hose coming from the fuel filter is smaller then the inlet for the pump so i bought brass adapters and bought 400 psi hoses so it could hold up right?? WRONG. the brass pieces of **** leaked gas like a mother...and there was no leakage from the out part of the pump to my fuel rail...any ideas on what to use to help the hose go from bigger to smaller...what kind of adapter can handle around 150 psi of pressure?? thanks btw it's going from a 5/16 to a 1/2 thanks

On brass fitting you need to use epaoxy to seal them. Tha's a lot of pressue. Sorry I don't know about these things, bt why so much pressure? The fuel rail should only be seeing like 40psi right?
