Default 2001 LX stabilizer bars.

Hello, Im a mustang and prelude owner normally but my girlfriend has a 2001 civic LX 4dr and I was hoping to do something about its Whale like handling. I love the car, but is just doesnt handle very good. What kind of Front and rear sway bars come on the stock LX's I know my 'lude has big ones on the front and back but i have never crawled under the civic to look. Are there good replacement or add on sway bars available for this car? Any other handling tricks?

Wrong forum? Last time I checked this was the Civic forum!

Anyway, I don't know much about the new Civic's, but I dont' think they come with any anti-roll bars. I think tehy only have a front sway bar. Try getting some front and rear strut bars, and rear sway bar and maybe a tie bar. I would also get some better shocks. Maybe lower a tad. After that you will think differently.

some new tires and struts would help alot as well as springs thats if u wanted to lower it. i don't know what's out there for the 7th gen civics yet maybe try looking into comptech. hey sounds like u built yourself an svo clone sounds bad *** (saw it in your sig).

Yeah, my stang is coming along nicely. The motor is almost done. I need to rebuild the turbo, and figure out how i want to plumb the Intercooler and then drop it in. My money has run dry so its on hold till summer. Should be fun when its done. I have seen a setup almost identical to mine make 300rwhp on the dyno so i am hoping i can get pretty close to that. As for the sway bars, How to they attach to these cars I am used to a link suspention with solid rear axles, How hard are these bars to install. And what should i expect to pay. I dont have alot of cash but my girlfriend would appriciate the better handling. Shocks and springs will have to come later though.

Thanks!
