Im trying to find out who makes a shifter lever that is taller in height and angled towards the driver (aftermarket or OEM). I've noticed that the Skunk2's look a bit taller than most other short shifters and is angled toward the driver. Are ther any other shifters in the market that offers what im looking for?
TIA

I should've mentioned...i dont have the money for the DPS and finding a used one is close to impossible. Any other alternatives before i decide to make a custom extension? How about the Buddy CLub?

Yes, I've seen this one but i have no idea who makes it or the price.
Dr. Pooface, how inferior do u think this one is compared to urs? Any flaws u can think of based on this image?

The knock-off is made by Arospeed and is called the Robo Shifter:
It's $54.99 here: http://importave.com/store/shifters.htm
The Arospeed robo shifter was designed to ensure optimum driving position for any racer. This all new revolutionary free arm structure robo shifter allows height, front, rear, left and right angle adjustments. Thus allowing the driver to position the shifter in a more comfortable easier shifting position. As if this was not enough, the shifter also allows for a stroke adjustment, thus allowing more precise and shorter throws through the gear range.

i think the idea is awesome as it puts the shift **** closer to where it would be located in a "true sports car".

will spoon ***** work these two shifters? im guessing since the spoon **** has the allen screw locking mechanism it would work fine since you could use that for tension if it didn't screw down all the way.

I've never sold one but I have seen them in catalogs they send me. http://WWW.CHECKPOINTAUTOACCESSORIES.COM. They have some nifty items for cool prices. I think they call it the ROBOSHIFTER or something to that affect. I have one of their standard short shifters in my R for a while now & I have no probs with it or anything I seen of theirs.
Dr. Pooface, is that the same as this? What is the difference?
As far as spoon shiftknobs fitting, I have no idea. The threads do accept honda ***** on mine.
I searched "roboshifter" on google and found a post on another board where a guy complained of breaking his in three pieces on a hard shift.
Damn, I thought I remember them for like $275 a year or so ago... and readily available?

just an fyi:
I bought a C's shifter (not the cool position one....just the solid one) and wanted to know what the big deal was. the secret behind it...
ROLLERBLADE BEARINGS
the pivot point at the bottom that hooks up to the shift linkage has rollerblade bearings on either side. If I could find a cheaper shifter that could fit these I'd stop by a sporting goods store and pay $5 for a pair of ABEC-7 bearings or something.
the driver position shift on the other hand is
but I haven't found one anywhere (for a semi-reasonable price anyway). That C's shifter plate is cool too....discontinued
