Default OT: Gas price

Hi! The gas price just broke the 1 CAN$ barrier today in Montreal... I know it's barely ITR related, but this this is the best forum on this site. It can be ITR related if you think that high rev engines can consume a lot of gas. My RSX-S is not better that my ITR was exept on the highway (6th gear). Right now, it cost me 10$ more to fill up my car. A 20% increase in a year...

Anyways, gas is still cheap compare to what they are paying in Europe.

And think about it... The Earth is covered with about 70% of water, and a liter of fresh water is more expensive then a liter of gas

This is crazy. 1$/liter for 94 octane gas.

I know the gas in cheaper south of the border but with the IRAQ situation, the price must be going up everywhere!

How much are you paying?

PS:

1 US gallon = 3.8 liters
1 CAN$ = .65 US$

So 1 gallon of 94 octane gas in Canada would cost 2.47 US$

$1.89 for a gallon of 93 and the price will keep going up

Looks like I've to stay off from VTEC's rpm a little more often

Right now I'm paying about $1.75 - $1.80 per gallon.

That's pretty damn high. I'm in Minnesota BTW.

That's only a bit more than what I've seen gas prices going up to on the news in CA.

Last night I paid $1.829 per gallon for Chevron 93 octane.

No big deal to me. Really, folks, add it up. How much more is this really costing you. I might be out an extra $10 per month. So what?

ours is 0.70 CAN$ per liter here in Edmonton,
i don't know what is up, but i'm getting awesome gas mileage out of my car lately, i can get about 265 miles out of a full tank these days. I only had to fill up twice per month.

I just paid something like $.1869 at an Exxon in Old Town earlier today.
Good thing the CRX only needed another 7.822 gal. US to filler up.

Short of CA, I think our dinky litle college town has the highest prices. $1.9599 for 93 oct from Shell or Amoco.

don't worry too much about gas prices, it's just something you gotta live with. if you want to be cheap just use cheaper (priced) oil, instead of the fancy amsoil and redline.

$1.89 a gallon for 91 in SoCal still way cheaper than what people are paying in Euope I think its something like $5.00-$6.00 a gallon (3.800 liters)
