Default Need the code for 95 Teg Stereo

My uncle lost his stero info sheets. Is there a way to get the code or serial number without pulling out the head unit?

Thanks,

Cruzer

You have to pull the HU to get the serial. Then an acura dealer can give you the code.

there are a ton of threads on this topic. just search in the archives. if you're too lazy then just stick your head under the dash on the passenger's side and look at the serial number on the bottom of the radio. Using this serial number, call an Acura dealership and speak to parts dept. say "Hi, this is so and so from Best Buy Mobile Car Audio, and i need a code for a 95 acura integra stereo. here is the serial number xxxxxxx" they should give it to you w/no problems. If they don't give it to you, keep calling other acura dealerships until you find one that gives it to you. It took me 4 tries to get a parts guy who didn't really care, (the reason that i had a hard time was because its my gf's car and she's the 2nd owner) if you are the 2nd owner, they tend to give you a hard time. but if you're the original owner, then its no problem.

hope this helps.
