Default More problems...Help, anyone?

Car: 1989 Honda CRX Si
169K
Ebay axle back, Ebay short ram, NGK wires, new Honda OEM plugs

Problem: Well I've been having idle problems for a while now and it started when it began to get cold...My idle never seems to stay in one spot, as it would be on different RPM's everyday...I've turned the adjusting screw and played with it a bit, unplugged the EACV, restarted ECU and all...when I unplug the EACV, the idle stays at 500, so that means its still okay, right? And sometimes, when I play with the screw while the EACV is unplugged, and restart everything, my idle would fluctuate from 1K-1500...I read something on HT that said plugging the hole inside the TB with your finger? Dont know what that is exactly, but when I tried that, I realized that THAT was the one making the LOUD, extremely loud, hissing sound, and not my intake...Plugged that up and my car died...Dont know what else to check, people said my timing, (dont know how to check it), people said gaskets or a leak, (dont know how to check it)...

Also, I realized that when I shut the car off, I can hear my coolant resorvoir bubbling...blown head gasket? And when I begin to move, I can hear a HIGH pitch noise from my speakers, and it gets louder as my RPM's climb, but turns off when I turn the volume off...

I've replaced/fixed my grounds, and found out there was no tranny ground before...installed a tranny ground and my idle started to fluctuate...ANY help from ANYONE, please! I mean the car still runs REAL good, but only at idle, it wants to act up...and another thing, today, while driving, my Temp. needle went past the "H" and took about 3 mins. to come back down to normal...didnt seem like anything was wrong...Thermostat?

THANKS IN ADVANCED!!

P.S. BREAKA...i've read A LOT of the threads from the "search" function...and no one really comes up with a def. answer to MY situation...

high pitch through your speakers are connection issues...make sure that your radio/stereo is grounded properly (common ground) and if you have any amplifiers, make sure they have a common ground with your stereo...or get a cheap noise supressor from Radio Shack or electronic store and that should do the trick.

I know when an alternator is going bad it will give you that sound, but I thought it was from AM stations.

if the temp is getting high like that check teh temp switch &/or the water pump; I've had to replace both; as far as the idle is concerned mine fluctuates as well, sometimes I have to adjust teh throttle cable. hope this helps at least some........btw, i would guess teh water pump for the overheating problem.....

cool thanks...messed around with some of the wires today and the high pitched noise was from loose connections...accidentally loosened it when i changed carpet...as far as the idle, i dont know...the car runs strong and only fluctuates sometimes; when i adjust the idle screw...the helms says the idle is supoose to go up when something is on (AC, defrost, lights, etc.) but mine will dip down when i turn on any of those things...as for the temp needle, it doesnt over heat, just the temp needle going to the "h" and slowly coming back down, then back up...sometimes it'll stay below the half way point, then shoot up, then slowly come back down...TIA!
