Default bilstein struts????

I am bidding on a set of ITR Bilstein sport struts for my 88' dx. Is anyone here using them? If so do you like them?

I have a set on my 91 crx. They are fabulous. I was very impressed by the tour the Bilstein company gave the Crx club. They showed how much attention goes into the strut and how they can do custom settings to taylor your car. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, guys...but does anyone find that the Bilsteins, when paired with Sport springs (Neuspeed or H&R) seem to sit higher than normal?

I have Neuspeed sports with my Bilsteins and they seem to sit higher than other cars. Any suggestions??

TIA -

Alex

I have yet to have bilsteins but I do know that I have neuspeed sports and my A fram was sitting on the top of my finder well and I had to cut out a section and beat it in with a hammer and now it sits like it should and it rides a bit better. It dropped about another 1/2 in to 1 in.

Yeah, the prices are about right - they will price match also. They're a suspension specialist shop, so they know their ****. Plus, they're right down the street from where I work, so that's a plus for me. I'm always down to support a shop with good customer service, too.

I looked up inside the finder well and saw that my A frame was sitting on the top of it. I then took a die grinder and a small sledge and had at the top of the finder well. I two slits about 8in apart and then beat in the middle of that area with the sledge and now the A frame sits right. It also lowered my car about 1/2in to 1in more.

Do you think the bilsteins will handle a pretty high spring rate?

400-500in/lb?
