Default Best route to painting trim - ???

Whats up, I have a EK DX hatch and am looking into painting all my trim ( ie grill, rocker panels, door trim and the back portion around the license plate. I have three questions,

1. If I have a respectable body shop do this roundabout how much $$$ ?

2. If I do this my self where could I aquire the matching paint ?

3. If I do this I have heard rumors that the paint will "crack" ? I'm asuming by stress ?

Thanks in advance ~ and if anyone has pics of a silver EK w/colored trim that would also be great !

1. Approx. 300-500 out here in California.

2. Not sure

3. Quality paint will not crack.

1. Here in Vegas people get skirts, plate box, moldings and handles painted for $150-200.
2. http://www.paintscratch.com; you can buy oem paint in a can.
3. It wont crack if its done by a proffesional because they put something in the paint that will allow it to flex somewhat. Its a special additive(forgot the name).

I have a 99dx coupe i got all the exact same stuff painted at a body shop sort of close to where I live in Oct I think it was. He did it all for free so I do not know how much it will cost, but for free the quality is and was awesome. I have not had a problem with those pieces yet, and you can't even tell they were originally black. If I do a few more cosmetics it would look like a silver si.
