Rear LCA Bushing Removal
These seem a lot harder to take out than the front LCA bushings (which i already installed the ES BUSHINGS)
Is there an easy way of taking these out rather than hydraulic pressing them out? i really need to get my ES bushings in there since they have the threads for the rear swaybar

I asked the same question awhile back so I searched for it and here is just one of them (this one is from myself) there were others so if this doesnt help search in the archived and there are a couple of others but they all sounded kind of the same....

you can use the same process you did for the front LCAs, but the outer metal ring might be more of a PITA. from what i have seen, the entire rear suspension takes a beating in areas where it snows...the heat from the exhaust + road salt = rusty bolts and outer metal rings in bushings.
For the rear, I actually found it quite easy to pund them out with a 2 lb sledge. All I did was use a largish socket on the bottom that fit around the outtside of the boss for the bushing, then another socket that was them same or nearly the same diameter as the bushing's outer shell. Then I held the socket with a set of vice grips, and pounded the crap out of it, till the bushing came out. It worked for 10 bushings.
i dont want to bend the metal thats why i am a bit skeptical of using a sledgehammer.... when the sleeve is out, is there a gap between the 2 sides? if so i can maybe hammer the middle part to loosen te outer part of the metal sleeve from the LCA....

What I did to remove my old bushing was use a torch and heat it up at hot at it can get. Then used a vise grip to tight clamp on the bushing bolt and twist it until the bushings rip. Once they rip, you can sorta pound them out easily. Afterwards you will have to use a dremel or something to cleen the old leftover bushings that is stuck on the LCA walls. But this process I found was the easiest next to having them pressed out. It took me about 10-15 mins per arm. GOOD LUCK!!
I've said this so many times, save yourself the headaches and aggravation and have them pressed out. Easiest, fastest, and less damage potential rathar than bashing them out. It only cost me around $40 for all 4 arms.
