Engine is B16a2.

I need a distributor, preferably OBD1, but OBD2 will also do.

Could someone please tell me which ones i can definitely use?

Need to place an order with my mechanic soon...please help me out guys!

depending if you motor is OBD2 or OBD1,..if you got a b16 out of a 99-00 SI then you can use an SI,...GSR,..or Type R distributor

 

depends on what car your puting the b16a2 into, and what ecu your running. if you have a obd1 car and ecu than use a obd1 dist. If you have a obd2 car and ecu, than use a obd2 distr.

 

everyone is charging an arm and a leg for a obd1/2 distributor for the vtec motors. poor me hacked one of the legs off a b18b distributor and it worked perfectly fine. i have recommended this for a lot of guys that for some reason did not get a dist with their swap, or are trying to make an older engine work in a newer car.

just make sure you got that bitch on tight, or your timing is gonna go all over the place!

 

around here i see used obd1 distributors for less than 100 regularly.

i'd go with OEM honda, and find a dohc vtec distributor. where are you located...i'd check your local boards...you'll find someone selling one.
