it will on stock valve train, if you have some steel or titan retainers, better values, pistons, then you will be fine using about 50 shot

First you have to consider just what nitrous does. Adding oxygen to combusion increases compression. So if you're already in the high 11s, chances are any decent sized shot will end up with you replacing the head gasket.

i wouldn't want to run nos on a set up like that. i don't trust the stuff in the first place but still it'll boost your compression sky high and that fine is a bad thing

You can run nitrous on any internal combustion engine. You can ever run it on a lawnmower as long as you get the a/f ratio right on the money and use high octane gas to fight detonation.

Oh, and don't forget the spark needed to burn it. You may have to upgrade that also.

safe using 50 shot? most stock motors can handle that no problem. its all bout tuning. like he said before me tuning is key. if u setup fuel to burn with that amount of oxygen then you will be fine. follow the manufacturers suggestions for upgrades to the fuel system per shot and such and you'll be set. i will say it again tuning is the main focus and youll be fine

Nitrous loves high compression but as has been mentioned, the tuning needs to be there. i.e. ignition, fuel, mapping.

i have the same ? pretty much.. my compression tho will be slightly lower 10.5:1 or 11:1) plus im using the safest kit out (ZEX) i feel safe as long as im using 105 unleaded with the juice. it will only be a 100 shot..

You would probably have better luck if you ran a wet kit, but most 50 kits arent rated at the wheels. So the improvement would not be worth the risk to the motor. Unless you have forged internals i wouldnt do it. And please.. Call it nitrous or N20. NOS sounds so lame. Unless you are injecting a brand name into your motor
