Hi,

I was thinking of putting a new B18B with a JDM B16a1 cable tranny. Will this combo work? What engine mounts do you recommend?

If so, which tranny do i get? I hear stuff like Y1, J1, S1. I'd prefer one that doesnt rev really high cuz i do alot of highway driving.

So how much should I be looking at for a complete motor but without the tranny? And how much for a JDM B16a1 cable tranny?

In your case, I'd get the '89-'91 Y1... my tranny (S1) sucks *** on the highway .
