ground wire confusion =P
ok now everyone says the pic below is correct. but it doesnt even touch any part of the valve cover since there's a rubber gourment under where the nut is
and everyone says this one is in correct... but i would figure this is the rightway
since its directly on the metal part of the valve cover
and this one... umm.. yeah....really confused
what is the correct way?

your not grounding the valve cover your grounding the head. the bolt that it attaches to attaches to the cam which touches the head. the valvecover has rubber on it and such which does nothing. it doesnt receive much current which is why u attach it to the bolt.

you have a correct ground there kid.
it goes around the bolt on the valve cover to ground the head not the valve cover..its right in the pic with the blue engine bay

The one on the right is for the JDM throttle cable.
The ground is in the correct location in the car with the blue engine bay.
