suggestions on batteries
im in need of a good replacement for my 8 year old honda battery. decent pricing is always a plus too, but weight saving and power output are key also. thanks guys
edit: its on a 94 del sol vtec (the b16 not the d16 like some people say) if that makes a difference

sears die hard.
Optima red tops are about the best out there, but they don't fit in the 6G civs, and I believe that the 5G battery location is just as cramped as the 6G.

My recommendation would to be to invest in Optima battery that has more cold cranking amps would last a hell of a lot longer. Or I would go to Honda and purchase another one of their batteries.
Some people do not know, but a lot of OEM parts are very well made and last forever. Things like cheapo Autozone, or Sears batteries have like a 3 year or even lifetime warranty on them, but why spend the extra cash on one of those when you have proved for your previous battery to work for 8 years?

good luck.

Diehard. I killed mine a few times and it still worked great then, it was dead for a few months while my car was broken, charged it and its still runnin strong 5 onths later.
PS I was runnin a system for about a year with that batterey also.
