what is the part that is on the intake manifold. it is 90* bend, it is right below where the valve cover breather is. it is the red valve next to the injector

i have the skunk2 intake manifold, and I did not install it. It would be very helpful to know what it is called. I could not find the part on my acura parts cdrom program.

i thought it was the pcv valve. but I looked in my helms, and it shows that it is on the crank case breather box.

that is the PCV. you need that.
its not on the catch tank

 

That's what it is...the itr and sk2 manifolds have the pcv valve mounted on the intake manifold as opposed to directly on top of the crank case breather box. If you have a newer helms you'll see it listed.
