Default CIVIC Si tranny vs. EX tranny

is the tranny from the 90-91 EX the same as the tranny from the Si's. They have the same motor, but i don't know if they have the same gear ratios. And are the dx and lx trannys the same as the ex. Want to know which one is better for overall performance, off the line, mid, and top end. Thanks

im not sure they made a 90-91 EX...maybe...but EX should be equivalent to an SI tranny. i think the DX and LX are the same, geared for better gas mileage.
