that question is pretty broad man...it all depends on what kind of setup your looking for...the most power is probably gonna come out of something like a Toda C or Jun III

Uh-oh, you are going to get a lot of s*#t for this one. Allow me to do this nicely: Do a search, you will find more than enough info.

... on a stock valvetrain, or not?

There are way too many variables to give you a clear, concise answer.

If I were you I'd try and source up some cams out of an 88-91 CRX SiR or 90-91 Integra XSi. They are hard to find, but really make the power! Sorry guys. I am bored.

No no no the real big JDM power cams come from the auto tranny equiped B16's!!! <---- Ultra rare and super big gains in the mid-range

https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch <------ is your friend.

IMO Toda D's in your mouth have the most potential --- 10.20@120+ and dropping

I have spoon on my car, only mild gains. Recomend that you get Toda B's not C's. Even B's are lumpy down low but mid range is very strong. C's are not really generating power until up top!!!

So for daily driveability Toda B's have my vote.

If you compare the B with the Spec D , D's all the way
*stock idle on Spec D

Stock is best. Best quality for no extra money.

Get the head and the flywheel worked and tune your motor. That`s all.

I am assuming you are referring to Eric's Racing. I thought they used VTEC Killers?

You are wrong, in part. B's and C's are equally lumpy at idle and equally strong in mid range (i.e. before crossover) because the primary lobes are the same size. Once again, if you can make B's idle, you can make C's idle.

As far as I know he had toda grind the D's specifically for him and he sells what he himself uses.

Toda D's

Maybe Spoon1 can let us in on the info

$ is always the biggest problem, otherwise I'd have a Toda motor!
