the recaro lookalikes. how are they, they worth the $500? how is the material?

get them because you will save over 700 dollars rather then buying the real recaros....i dont think the material is worth 700.

i think the color will fade and will look like shiet,..i have heard that the tenzo Rs do this and these cant be better quality,..maybe the same but not better

there is a reason I sold them and bought the real thing! I spent the 500 on them got them, and emmediately sold to a friend because of that RED double stitch group buy recaro going on, I had to jump on that and was able to afford it. The guy i sold them to wants to sell them as well. Make offer

 

From what i've read, Tenzo upgraded the dye in their fabrics after everyone complained about their first batch of seats fading in the sun after a few months. people say the newer versions don't fade.

 

save your money and buy the real thing.

 

I picked up some Dynamic Auto Design seats for 400 bucks per pair plus rails. Once I got them I bathed them in hairspray and the color hasn't faded at all. I have sat in the Sparco's (the torino) and they feel almost the same. I'm not saying mine are as quality as the Sparcos but I saved 200 bucks after buying two with rails intead of one name brand seat without rails. I'd post a picture but I'm not sure it would work and no picture is better than a red X. PM me if you want the picture.

Those have to be the ugliest seats ever. If your putting them in a race car its cool! for street its

 

i've sat in the Torinos. they're alright, but my back started hurting after an hour. Way more comfortable than the non-adjustable seats, though, that's for sure.

 

to me all those seats look ugly and ricey as hell, they are too funky looking and pointy. Curvacious smooth symetric lines for me

Its ricey because they are different colors. DUH UGH. And to the kid that said something about the seat I posted not looking good ina street car, umm DUH. Why would you get a race seat if you dont race at all? And who cares what it looks like, functionallity is your friend.

 

i dont like the tenzo type R's because the seat is too wide. it feels unsupportive. are those blank recaro srd knockoffs more narrow and fitting????? where can i get my hands on a pair???

 

I remember reading a thread where some of those racing seats were not as safe as the OEM ones
