I became a statistic tonight.... :(
I'm too pissed off to say anything coherent and/or non-profane and orderly right now so I'll let the pic speak for itself. I am however greatful to still have my car.
I'll fill in details on the story in the morning.

my stereo deck is ziptied to my dash.. only way i can take it out is to take apart the dash, clip all 4 zipties, undo the bolts that secure it to the dash, then they can steal it

back when i was in highschool.....some dumbasses shattered both of my driver and passenger side windows in the middle of the night....didnt take anything, but it took me the whole next day cleaning up the driveway, car, and paying to get it replaced!!
I was up at 3 in the morning and heard an alarm... ran out to the parkin lot of my apt to find that it wasn't my alarm, it was my roomate's cousin's car(he lives in teh complex too) and his prelude's door handle was all fucked up cuz htey tried to pry the whole thing off. Nobody was in sight by the time i got there.
Ok guys, this happened while I was at work out in the parking lot. Its a pretty busy and public place and the cop says that why they probably just did an in-and-out job. Its off of East HWY 50 (Colonial), about a block from Mills ave. (orlando's mini-chinatown) about 2-3 minutes from downtown. No I dont have and alarm, and no it wouldn't have been any good either. I am extremely thankful to have my car after seeing how they tried to start it. I have a starter kill chip and even though its not obvious from the pic, they did stick something into the ingition because when I got to it the ignition was in the "ON" position.
With the stuff they took it was more like an inconvenience. They got some burned CD's, my clarion deck and 12-cd changer, but worst of all they got about $450 worth of college books, a $180 calculator and a priceless amount of notes and homework!!
meaning I am basically screwed this week as far as exams go. The cops think that when they were unable to take the car they just grabbed my backpack and used that to throw the deck and cd's into. The cop also said they could have been college students b/c they took the books and they werent even in my backpack. If this wasnt the case, they must have been some pretty ambicious theives, to want a Calculus, Engineering Statics, University Physics and Autocad 2002 manual...
I am really scared though, because I know they will be back.. I mean this happened within the time of my shift. And that is not the best area of the city, and theres always like thugs and hooked up cars all over the place. My girlfriend is going to drive me to work for sometime and we are planning a steakout (me n my friend) and use my car as bait
I'm really freaked out though because next time I might not be so lucky...
