coolant line on throttle body
just wondering of the importance of the coolant line going to the throttle body. i know it is to heat the throttle body for emissions, but is it necessary and will the car run any better without it?
It will lower the intake temps a hair. I didn't run any thru the IACV either. Just ran T and it runs from one side of the water pump straight to the other and back into the block. IMO it was easier then trying to get the coolant lines to work out on the Y8 with the Z6 block.

on cold climates u might wanna have it hooked to it keeps ur intake warm a lil and the TB and other parts work better... if u live on warmn weathers i will take it out...
I just looped mine with a hose coupler and I live in Canada and I have no problems in the winter with idle or anything like that...also it helps clean up the engine bay a tad especially if u have an aftermarket intake
