The vendors I talked to just said to check back periodically for updates because they didn't have any info on the wheels.

I've been bugging Kim at Rota. He/She said they should be available in March. He will be emailing me once they are ready. I'll be sure to spread the word as soon as I receive notice. I want these wheels too.

are they going to be a "new" style(since every wheel is a knock off, Im not complaining) or are the going to make the same wheels avaible in 15x7, if they are then i am going to wait to order my wheels.

Wheels should be Slipstreams.

i can't imagine them to be more than the 450 dollars for the set of 15x6.5, im guessing at most they will be 500, but thats just an nonfactual guess...

It was posted in Grass roots that they should retail about 125 a wheel, but street price will be more near 115 or so.

just a note

at that price, is it really worth the wait that to just buy kosei? the K1's have wider and i believe better offset as well. and quite frankly, there are several options from Borbet that are 15x7 for UNDER $100.

well since tirerack does not carry the K1's with the 45 offset, they only have the 38 now. i think that offset is too much.

i dont really have any information on the borbet wheels. but machiii has the stern aguzze wheels with a 43 offset and they are 400 shipped. so they would be cheaper then rota.

i think i might just bite the bullet and get the aguzze wheels. but i would rather have a 45 offset...do you think that 2mm will be of any concern? i doubt it.

art, what issues do you forsee arising with the 15x7 43+ aguzze wheels? why would you need a 2mm spacer on an R?

i really dont know what problems might arise from the +43. i was actually hoping someone might shed some light on that. but i am thinking that there will be no problems with the +43, or it shouldnt.

Are the gains huge with 15x7 rotas vs. 15x6.5?

How much more would they possibly weigh?

If you go wider than a 205/50-15 r3so3, you'll rub the trailing arm in the rear. My 225/45-15 r3s03's still polish the arm a bit with a 3mm spacer. (this is with a 15X7 and 42mm offset).
Has anyone thought about notching (then welding in an arc-shaped filler plate) the trailing arm to make room for the tire for this kind of situation? Strength issue maybe?

Revised release date is sometime in mid-April if my sources are correct.
