Code 92???
What is EVAP system insufficient pruge flow?? and how would i go about fixing it?
Generally, the evap system is the charcoal canister that adsorbs gasoline vapors that evaporate out of your gas tank. My '95 its mounted to the firewall, kind of below the battery. Look for plugged or pinched hoses, or a valve that's not working??
I gotta remember to look in my Helm book. My answer was kind of general. When the engine's off, the evaporation from the gas tank has to go thru the charcoal can to get out. The charcoal is supposed to hold the gasoline, so it doesn't get out & destroy the environment
.
When the engine is running its supposed to suck a little bit of air in thru that same can, so it burns the gas that's stored in there. Sounds to me like the fault code is about that flow rate being too low. Somethings blocking it or ??
OK, so I looked... There's a solenoid valve on the intake manifold. (Your LS isn't gonna be in the same place as my GS-R.) Rubber vacuum hose... then a diaphragm valve on the charcoal canister. There's also an opening on the bottom of the canister to vent to the air. Any of these can be blocked or pinched or broken. There's a whole sequence of steps to check them with a MityVac.
