Default Need some help from guys that are familiar with the B18B heater core hose routing

I can't find a person in the EF civic forum with any brains to help me. I want to know how the coolant hoses are routed on the B18B. In specific the heater core hoses. I know that there are 4 spots to hook up the heater core hoses, what do they go to?

There are 2 on the thermostat housing: one closer to the thermostat (closest to passenger side) and one further back (closer to drivers side).

There are 2 spots coming off the cylinder head for heater core hoses: one spot on the left side of the head (visible) and one in the back (not so easy to see).

Which goes to the heater core and what are the other two for? Could I safely plug the two unused ports with out any problems?

Thanks in advance

I just put a heater core in my b18 integra. I dont think it matters which way the coolant flows through the heater core. I know that one of the hoses came out the one that is closest to the temp sensor. Then the other one is somewhere down on the back of the block i think.

I don't know what year integra engine I have...believe it is a 94 or 95. Is there an easy wat to tell?

Reason I am asking this question is I believe that it is effecting my temp sending unit. MOre info here>>>> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=393851
