hey wassup..im thinking about ordering some h&r race for my hatch.....what would be a better choice since i got a gsr setup in it i was thinking of getting the springs for a teg cause of the spring rate compared to the hatch?..soo should i ....

1)get the h&r race application for a 94-00 teg
or
2)just get the one for the hatch

 

get the ones for the teg of course so it is stiffer. you added more weight to the front of your car with the swap.

 

yeah thats what im thinkin so teg app it is

 

btw for people who wanted to know ..(from an h&r rep)
the spring rates for the h&r race springs are

92-95 civic: 450 front - 260 rear
94-00 teg:460-350 rear


only 10 pds differ for front..hmmmmmmmm

No I ordered 'em for my Civic, if I woulda thought/known they were stiffer, I would of thrown those on.

 

btw...how much clearence and finger gap u got up front?...

 

Well I just installed the fronts this weekend actually, here's a few pics, mind the dirty car. They should settle about another half inch or so, that's my guess... and keep in mind I'm sportin Steelies until I get the back lowered. Next weekend if I can find someone with Rear LCA's I'll install the rear ones and by then the front should be settled... I can take pictures then, but for now here's the front.

thanks....how much gap with the steelies?..lol...same thing happen to my old coupe when was installing my springs...the nut broke off on the lca...lucky my boys pop work at a shop so i went to honda and brought a new bushing thing and had my boys father press it in.

 

I would say they are about 2 1/2 finger gap and that's a guess... but like I said... give 'em some time, I can't tell you exactly because I'm up at school away from my baby. Sorry
