Default roof spoiler on coupe?

I've been looking to get something like a little roof spolier/lip/sunvisor for the rear of my 93 Civic Coupe...would one from a hatchback fit with minor mods (is it the same width as the coupe rear windshield?)? It appears that the 96-00 Civic Hatch/Coupe/4dr and DelSol all use the same part number of "solar wing" from GTS, so I'd think this would work...

If anyone has a measurement of the rear windshield on their 96-00 Civic, that would be cool to know...

you sir, are a moron. Thanks for being completely unhelpful. If you're going to be a jerk, don't troll around on h-t, newb. I don't frequent this forum because of **** like this...can someone please show me the good side of the EG forum?

Anyway...It's not a spolier, per se, but a little lip that is basically level with the roofline, extending it further to keep rain/sun off a portion of the rear windshield as well as, presumably, lowering the coefficient of drag by lengthening the roofline. GTS makes one that is a little cheesey and I'd say it's somewhat similar to the piece of plastic that comes stock on the hatches. Any HELP would be appreciated.

lol, a serious mercedes tuner does this with the clk in germany... it looks awesome, but i have no idea about a hatch spoiler fitting on a coupe. i will be checking up on this thred b/c it would definatley make an improvement in drag/areodynamics at high speeds.

sorry, i have never seen one on a coupe...

i like the way coupes are shaped in the first place...

i say let you passengers suffer with the sun....(your driving, they aren't)...

oh and if you want to lower the coefficient of drag or whatever....i am sure that its not going to do anything unless you are going like 100+ or way faster than the speed limit...

oh my.

a spoiler on the rear windshield?

not necessary and wouldn't do any good in the first place.

Alright, First, I didn't ask for an opinion on how it looks, number one because that's just an opinion.
Two, a coupe is a 2dr, not a sedan (some people don't know this, apparently).
Three, I am willing to put money on the fact that it WILL make a difference in drag (which only matters at high speeds as someone correctly pointed out). The hatch has a slightly longer roofline and a lower coefficient of drag, these two things are directly correlated as stated in the factory literature.

Thankyou to the people that are not guessing or pulling things out of their asses. In any case...I'm just wondering if anyone has seen these for my car...I admit it could look like ***, but I think it could also be made to look really cool.

Something like one of these (preferably not cheesey, though)...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6766

The 96-00 Civic Coupe, Hatch, Sedan AND DelSol apparently use the same part number for the "Solar Wing" deal, so that seems to imply that all the rear windows are similar if not identical in dimension...so, would it be the same for my car?

the jdm spoiler or stock usdm spoiler would not look bad imho(colormatched to your body color)... if you tried to throw a spoon duckbill on it would. i think the spoon duckbills look stupid on hatch too just my .02 and im entitled to it!
EDIT: plus you would be getting an led brake light with the spoiler so you can unhook the one that looks retarded sitting on the rear deck. again my .02

yeah, the spoon sticks up too much and is a LITTLE long, really. something a little less aggressive might be good.

My friend has a 99 Si that has that plastic backglass spoiler. IMO it looks gay, but if you think it helps, go for it.
