Default which type clutch to use for street/strip?

i want to upgrade my clutch and flywheel but still want smooth engagement.....i drive this car daily and need to be able to feather the clutch in traffic and **** like that....i just want something better than stock but not too agressive....just a step higher...I go to the track on weekends no more than once a month so it really isn't too important for that type of use

I will be installing a ITR LSD tranny at the same time....if that makes any difference

Thanks for any input!

I have the exedy organic clutch and am very satisfied with it. Stock pedal feel, 32% more clamping force, and great price. Try clutchcityonline.com for good prices. Definately put in a lightened flywheel while your at it...

Well...upon reading his post...he'd probably wanna go with an act street/strip application. Though a cm stage 4 is streetable also imo.

i read up on that one and like what i saw....

can i buy just a disc and get an improvement, or do i have to go with the pressure plate and disc to get any significant improvement?

My pressure plate had grooves in it so I just replaced it with the heavy duty one. Feels just like stock . You can probably go with the disk but I would get the whole kit because it comes with pp, disk, t/b, and pilot bearing. I just took my flywheel to a machine shop and they resurfaced it for $30. Don't forget the high temp grease for the shaft, huh huh he said shaft
