WHAT Lowering SPRINGS FOR my 00 R?
I am looking to lower my R, I want a close to stock ride but only want to go
1" to 2" down. I do not want to go so low that I would need a camber kit, just an alignment. Thanks.

While I realize it is your car and you are probably not into doing lapping sessions and the like, I highly recommend leaving the suspension stock until you can outdrive it.
If you are lowering your car for strictly aesthetic purposes, get any springs it really does not matter.

Chris - who is most certainly not at the point of being able to use the stock suspension to its' full potential, but closer now than a year ago....
Just curious - what are some symptoms of being able to outdrive your suspension?
As you do more events, you get more comfortable with your car. After a while there comes a point where it seems as though your improvement slows down.
That is the point at which I'd consider changing the suspension.
It's really sad how a lot of people assume the ITR suspension is garbage and needs to be altered.

i dont know if they say its garbage, i think its more of not knowing how good it is and just ''slamming their ride"
Exactly.
Exactly.

that car looks great. The drop looks perfect.
ive always woundered this:
say you have the same driver. and we will say he has average driving skills.
if you put him on a track and had him race with the stock suspension and then again with a properly modded suspension wouldnt he run faster times?
yes true he is essentially wasting money b/c he cant fully utilize even his stock setup but its not like his time wont improve correct?
just a thought

One experienced driver in a stock car running circles around an inexperienced driver in a modified car makes the driver of the modified car look silly.

In the above scenario, the driver would be equally craptastic on both suspensions.
I'd say it would not make a tangible difference.
I don't think anyone that feels uncomfortable taking the stock suspension to the limits should get anything stiffer. You really have to learn the characteristics of the suspension slowly and be able to anticipate what is going to happen. A stiffer suspension allows you much less room for mistakes.
I have kg/mm springs and the drop height is nice and the ride is even better. When you turn it feels like the car is on rails and when you go through dips the springs are stiff but forgiving. There is no "bunny hopping cut spring ricer mode" feeling with these springs.
