what kind of mods do you have, and why are you playing with your timing? You dont need a turbo to benefit from an air/fuel gauge...they are mighty helpful in tuning....but if youre talking i/h/e then no, no need for it.

Don't bother with the el cheapo autometer A/F gauge either. It's not worth the time to install. Greddy, A'pexi, Halmeter...etc make good gauges/systems.

All I have form now is an intake, and I have an exhaust but it's not on yet. But it's just the beginning, of my mods I am doing things slowly but things are getting done.

Since you are just starting out, don't even bother with it. Plan out what your goals are first and if you get serious about tuning, look into a wideband o2 sensor.

My Autometer AF gague makes for a neat little flashing light. Really a dummy light. The stock o2 sensor isn't fast enough to make an accurate reading. I'd save up and invest in a wideband if you're looking to tune your A/F ratio.

even those are not accurate for shxt when it comes to air/fuel accuracy. they just give you an indication of whether youre running rich or lean. u'd have to have someone tune w/ wideband. DEFINITELY no need w/ i/he.

While I would agree with your assesment about the need(or lack of) for an A/F gauge with those mods. I've compared my Greddy gauge to a wideband graph and found it to be spot on accurate. I've seen others attest to the accuracy of A'pexi & Halmeter, hence my comment, though I have no personal experience with A'pexi or Halmeter gauges w/ an Acura. I adjusted my Vafc while referencing my Greddy A/F gauge. When I later had the car dyno'd the only changes made to the Vafc were right at the x-over point, which BTW was changed while tuning.
