how fast will i be on slicks if 13.976 on street tires?

here is the breakdown:

60' - 2.254
330' - 6.043
1/8 - 9.117 @ 80.32
1000' - 11.746
1/4 - 13.976 @ 101.04

13.5-13.30's
with a 1.9-1.8 60 foots

 

with a 2.2 60ft. you can improve to a 1.8-1.9 60ft which will drop your 1/4 mile times by .4-.6 depending on your setup.. all motor or turbo. So you can drop your 1/4 mile time down to low 13 to mid 13.s

 

I think maybe a little more even. A buddy of mine picked up .9 when switching to slicks. Not only did his 60ft. improve but everywhere else did as well. He was struggling with traction through the first 3 gears on street tires but after the slicks he hooked up. Just my .02 though. I think it varies for everyone. Good luck.

strong MPH. like a 13.2-13.4 id say.

 

i drove a car i built with a type r motor and ran 13.1@108mph on street tires with a 2.1 60 foot. i went to another track on slicks and ran 12.5@109mph with only a 1.7 60 foot. we lightened up the car with fiberglass doors and hatch. went back and ran 12.1@109mph on the same slicks. it all depends on your setup. and how bad your traction issues are to begin. with and how well you drive on slicks after. on average i would say about 6 tenths of a second. same setup radial to slicks.

 

Put me down for a 13.4 to 13.6

 

I've done 13.40's on 97-98 shitty traps in a gsr hatchie.Hope that helps?Oh yah...1.8 60's all day long on 22.8X15's

All I can say is when you go to slicks, you are going to say ( WOW ) why didn't I go to slicks along time ago. I have seen racers on M&H's, and drop 1/2 sec. John@M&H

what sizes do you recommed in 15" using GSR tranny and making 195 whp?

 

Hay (ALLMOTOR18):The only slick that would work for you in the M&H, would be the 7.5/23-15. Now if you can go to a 13" rim size, then I would go to the M&H 9/22-13 this would be the better slick for you. I hope this helps, Good Luck. John@M&H

If you use the 7.5/23-15 and your FD is 4.4 you will be running about 7200 rpm @ 110 mph is this what you need. John@M&H
