b18 or d16a6 turbo?? help me choose
what to do? im almost done peicing my turbo kit and was going to buy a D16a6 for about $500-600..but today i got offered a deal on a B18b ls motor for $1500obo and it comes with place racing motor mounts, axles, shift linkage, 5 speed trans, ls computer, wire harness. motor has about 40,000 miles..should i finish my turbo or buy the b18? do i still need to convert to obd1? what else would i need
finish turbo and put it on the b18. I bet it wouldn't be all that hard to actually swap to the B, maybe changed in exhaust manifold, and maybe a downpipe.
Pick up the B18B and then put the turbo that you have been piecing together on it!! Since you say your "Almost" done piecing it what do you need for it yet?? Or you could even finish getting it all and then sell a complete turbo kit to someone?? But if you have most of the parts but not all of them and you have the chance to pick up that motor why wouldnt you want to just turbo that motor? Just my opinion though.

do a search on b18a in the archives of this forum only, you will find at least a billion responses on peoples opinions as to what swap to do. In my opinion do the research and see what you want, instead of listening to the status quo.
