as the topic says... what is the best 15" sub under $250

Best for what? What amp?

For SQ, I would look at the Adire Tempest or an IDQ V2 15 or an IDW15 if you can find one. I bet you could find an old JLW3 or W6 that would work well too.

sq=sound quality and idq is a sub by Image dynamics.

500a2, is that 500 watts?

You need to decide if you want more of a sound quality or spl (loud) sub. You can have both, but the good ones are above 250.

my amp came with a birth certificate thing, and it said something like about 800w. well whats a good SQ sub and whats a good SPL sub? i can go a lil over 250 but not tryin to spend like a 500 or anythin you know

 

you might want to look into a kicker l7...
or a jl audio w6 if you can get it
