Default B-series Mounts in a 98 ek coupe????

I was wondering about which mounts i need in a 98 civic. It was automatic which makes matching up mounts for a b-series even harder. Can anybody help me on this. Which ones should i get and out of what year or should i buy a hasport mount kit. Thanks for your help.

If anybody has any of the mounts i need hit me back at lowcivex@yahoo.com

The lower mounts are gong to give you a little problem. There is a metal tab on both sides that will have to be removed, before you can install the mounts from a 99 and up Si.

That site has the wrong part number for the thing you need though (rear tranny bracket).

The part number for the rear tranny bracket is: 56027-S04-N10

It says "rear tranny mount" ... but you need the bracket, not the mount. Just trying to help you out, because I was using that page when I did my swap.

I wish they'd change that..

It's no problem...just use the rubber mounts from the chassis. You don't even have to remove them.

As you can see.....they are the almost exactly the same. You need to use the one on the right, which is the stock one. This applies only to the Front trans mount and A/C mount.

Well...I suppose if you want to do it the hard way then you can whip out the grinder and go to town. I would prefer just to do the easier thing.

When I took that number to honda, they told me it was bogus. I dunno if honda changes their numbers, if so, that's wierd of them...

The front tranny mount? on EK civics, can you reuse the automatic front tranny mount with the 5 speed B-series front tranny bracket?

Hey Trey, I just recieved my 2 mounts for my swap (rear tranny bracket and driver's side mount) As far as the driver's side mount, it doesn't look the same as in the pic you show on your site. This is a rough drawing of the side view of the mount I got. It has the same part number as you listed. If you ask me, it looks like it has an extra hole at the very bottom

Let me know what you think

You have to remove the timing belt cover to install it. You'll see that there is another bolt underneath the timing belt cover.
