Vtec head on DX block?

Vtec head on DX block?
Alright will a 6th gen(y8 i think) fit on a 5th gen (dx)block, im told it will and it will also raise the compression some. If some one can tell me some common probs,and things i should know about swapping heads.

The y7 is none vtec and the y8 comes on the ex's and its vtec and it will fit.
