hey, i was parked lastnight in a pay and park lot and someone hit my car, and left a bullshit note with fake number and the longest insurance policy number i have ever seen in my life (also bullshit). so i called the number a few times, turns out the person on the other end of the phone has no idea what im talking about and i belive her. so my friends walk up to the attendant and he got her licence plate number down, but he never saw her acctualy hit my car he just saw the aftermath. so i go to the police station to report a hit and run, basicaly they cant do anything about it cause the guy didnt see the actual accident. im pretty pissed off, but more pissed that shes gonna get away with this. im gonna go down to the dmv tomarow and see if i can somehow get her address cause i have her licence plate number and ill go and confront her. im not gonna let her get away with this so easily.

 

yeah dont give up and be sure to see if any of your paint is on her car.

that really has to suck...

if you don't get any info from the dmv, call around for prices from private investigators (some are cheaper than others), they can get that info for you... once you have the info, you can confront her and tell her that someone saw her hit your car and that they wrote down her info... she will think that there really was a witness... anyways, be sure to get this done quickly as she may have her car repaired soon (if she even has any damage)...

i live in CA, but thanks though. im most probably gonna go to the dmv today or tomarow to get her info and confront her, i have a feeling shes just gonna deny it though. oh well.

 

Sorry about your car man I cant believe the police cant do ****. Get her address asap take a camera and try to get some evidence ie paint scratches. DO NOT CONFRONT HER. Just gather some evidence if you can and take that to the police. Believe me if she see's you out their taking pic of her car she will confront you. Do not talk to her just let her know the authorites will be contacting her for the felony hit and run. You need to play it cool man dont let her use anything against you she is the one at fault here not you Good Luck.
