most of the time a full color change runs around 2400 that includes door jams and engine bay. You can leave out the door jams and engine bay and get one for 1800. These are the prices around here and also considerd a basic paint job usually each coat of perl runs around $100. Then there is always a wetsanding fee I think...which you want to do with any paint job so you dont get orange peal.

Don't go to macco, they suck. I've seen there work first had an it's ****.

Also if you are changing from red to black get the whole car painted or it will look like ****.

A good quality paint job will run around $2500-3000 and that normally includes all the jams (doors, truck, etc.) but some place won't touch the engine bay unless you remove the engine.

My paint job (and body work) is costing me approx. $2500 but I'm stripping the car fully (interior, exterior and engine bay, basically just dash, windows and suspension will be left) and they are changing the color too.

Just remove it yourself, it would cost less. I paint cars and you're looking at about 2 grand for all the work required. Plus the after paint work if you can't do it yourself. ex. The wetsand and buff usually runs about 200 bucks
