Default s2k handles in the rain??? Gas consumption ???

I have an 02 s2k w/ 18" Volk GTN rims. 225/35 fronts and 255/35 rear NITTO 555R tires.
seems like in the rain on the highway the back end wants to loose it.
My gas consumption seems pretty bad, only about 240 miles to a full tank is this normal?
What are your thoughts on these issues?

I can't really comment on your wheel/tire situation since I am running my stock rims with OEM S-02's. But I will say that you should use caution while driving in rainy weather. Don't goose the car from a stop, and don't whip it around any corners. 240 miles a tank is pretty normal. I ususally get around that. I drove to Vegas last summer and got ~300 miles on a tank, but that was all freeway.
