Default itr cams on a gsr

did a search and didnt really find anything on this. If i were to get a set of 2000 itr cams would they fit directly onto my 98 gsr

Yes. They will drop right in. You may want to look into adjustable cam gears since you'll have the cams out.

They will fit. Recommend upgrade valvesprings and lost motion assemblies if you do this. Get ITR intake valvesprings and use your GSR intake valvesprings on the exhaust side.

so did you guys have yours tuned as well? i wouldnt mind getting mine tuned but there is a serious lack of shops around here that do that stuff.

New ITR intake springs only. ITR exhaust springs are the same part # as GSR intake springs. Your intake springs will be fine on the exhaust side. And cam gears tuned on the dyno will help you get the most out of those cams.

yeah i would definately like to get those tuned someday..are running the skunk 2 intake manifold as well?

And doesn't skunk2 pay them alot of money to advertise there products? Also based on the rest of the mangazine I wouldn't call them a creditable source.

go with jun type 1 cams by buddie has a civ si and skunk 2 he hates them has adjustable cam gears and could only get like 5-6 hp max after tunning them. or if u have $1800 jdmspecperf.com has a complete jun heaad package
cams,valve train, and cam gears u can pick which stage cam u want i think it is a great price 4 what u get
