Kicker midbass. I will run from 200 down to 60, I hope. It feels beefy, like a baby sub.

I have only had 4 hours of sleep, but I am on a mission.

I hate hiding the crossovers. They look very good. I saw the diamond audio amps in person also I would hang it on my wall. Who needs paintings?

Did you get kicks or are they going in the doors?

Yeah the amps were one of Streetwires greatest ideas
then they had issues....Mitek got the wire division...didnt need
another amp line. Beautiful design and construction.

The diamond components are going in kick panels. The kicker midbass is going in the door.

Cool, didn't you just show your alpine component install a month or two ago?

That was not me. I have an alpine 7998 and JL 300/4 that I installed a 1.5 months ago. I have had stock speakers until now.

I am my car's bitch. Nothing was accomplished. The kicks and diamonds are in position, they just need to be secured and connected, but it is cold. Until next week.

Please respond with how those kicker midbasses sound ! Are you throwing the rest in custom kicks or q-logics?

how are you crossing over the midbass, amp or passive?

and lastly...do you think i could fit the 8" version of the resolutions in the door ??

The midbasses better sound good since they have been a pain in my *** to install. I don't like cutting the doors, but I may have to. The terminals extend down past the 3/4 spacer I made and wont go through the stock opening. I hope that I can get a thicker spacer under the panel. I have to take measurement to see how high the terminals are. Yesterday I was just frustrated and not in the my normal mindset.

The diamonds will go in q-logics.

The midbass will be active. I planned on crossing it through my head unit by switching it to 3way mode(alpine 7998) but the high pass will not go below 1khz. I put it back to normal f/r mode and will use a combination of the headunits crossover on the low end and the amps on the highend. I plan on crossing around 200-60 when I have a sub. Right now I will let it play down to 40 at least.

I think you can get 8" in there with some sheet metal cutting and door panel modifications. 8 inch midbasses would be sweet.

Two weeks later, and I am finally done

I gave up and cut the sheet metal I must say the terminals on the kickers are nice, if they were subs. Those posts want to ground on everything. After cutting the door I taped everything close to the terminals and taped the terminals themselves also. I listened to them crossed at 50hz with 24db/oct. At high volume it got muddy and distorted. 63hz improved the situation. At 80 I have not been able to distort them yet. I will try 12db/oct when I go back outside.

I still have no sub but the system sounds much better. I am surprised that those little guys can shake my rear view.

I am happy with them. Are you going to do 8 inch with the kickers?
I need to listen to them some more. I don't think they can really handle 100 watts inside a door though.
