will an integra ECU with higher rev hurt my civic?
i have a pr4 Ecu with a redline of like 72K and it plugs into my hatch (93) and runs good.. just i dont know if my 1.5L DX motor will handle that.. will it b ok or will it mess it up. ? the onl thing i notice is the idle jumps to 2K ...

idle at 2k!
your motor is not meant to rev that high, but you will not realize this until the block has a hole...
imo there's really no point to this.

does it seem to have more power with the pr4 in it. if not why run it in your car just to get a 7200 rpm limit ?? the best ecu for a stock motor would be the stock ecu.. right

did you ever think......well did anybody notice that its a 93 EG hatch??? Thats why I was saying this. I orginally thought that it was a " bone stock" DX thats what the post say and MPFI swap isn't really stock is it?? Anyways its a 92+ and already MPFI. That ECU will be rich as haites on a 1.5 anyways. I wouldn't do it.IMO
sup civicracer,
I'm about 30-40 minutes away from you.
what color is your car? red?
anyways yeh that ecu wont work past a certain rpm you'll know when your powerband flattens out.
if you had a aftermarket camshaft to make power up to 7200 rpm or whatever then its good. but your just gonna get poor gas mileage and possibly smell gas all the time. 2k idle isnt good either.
