what are the best radar detectors out there? Can i get a good one for under 200$. if so what is it? what do all of you have?

i have the 8500 as well. best investment i made. i'm sure it easily paid itself off.

I picked up an 8500 for myself about a little over a year ago. It is a geat unit in terms of sensitivity, ease of use and build quality.

I would recommend V1, only because the resale value is higher. If you dont care about that, buy the escort.
