ITR Front Track Width/Demensions???
Hey R people I need some assistance. I've been contemplating the ITR caliper, 4 lug integ knuckle, prelude vtec rotor "big brake" upgrade for my civic. this mod requires shaving of the caliper bracket due to the ITR's wider track measurements.
I've SEARCHED, and I have found results, BUT, i have found mixed results on msn carpoint specifications pages, type R specific web pages, etc etc.
Ive seen 58.3 and 58.1 and there respective MM converted numbers as well. i believe the normal civics/integras have a 58.1 track width.
On a archived hybrids.jp articleabout this upgrade, they mention that the Type R has a 5mm wider track (which I have calculated based on MOST of my finding) but on the same site another article/source mentions that the track is actually 10mm wider (than normal civic/integs)
My question is, do any of you fellas have the EXACT front track width specs on your R's, and have the front track specs of a non R integra/civic for comparison?
thanks in advance, like i said..I have searched but have gotten mixed results so I wanna hear from actual owners who would know this.
. I'd like to put the issue to rest once and for all for civic owners such as myself.

From the 1998 Integra Helms manual:
Front track width
All except Type R = 1,475mm (58.1in)
Type R = 1,480mm (58.3in)
edit-forgot to put in the units of measure

True. The hub, rotor, and caliper bracket will determine the proper fitment for the caliper/rotor combo.
The actual track (which shouldn't effect the above) is a function of a number of different components: knuckle, hub, upper control arm, lower control arm....
Now on an ITR I'm not exactly sure which components are contributing to the increased track. If I had to guess it is the hub assembly.... I'm about to do a complete Civic/ITR suspension swap. I'll do everyone a favor a measure all of the components during the process.
