Default Anyone running the Tociko Shock with Tokico Spring matched components?

I just bought another 91 SI for daily driving and I want new shocks and springs that are livable on the street every day. Tokico now sells complete sets with matched lowering springs.

Anyone run these? How's the ride? How's the handling?

Would I be better off getting other springs like the Neuspeed sports or the H&R Sports?

I've got the Illumina kit (Tokiko adjustable shocks and springs) on my B17A CRX Si. They are a great for the street, and I have been really pleased with them. On the firmest setting they are slightly softer than my worn stock setup was (110,000 miles), and corner like the car is on rails (this is without ANY other suspension mods). Doing 70-80mph through twisty S-curved backroads around here feels easy and safe now. The drop is about perfect for the street... low enough to look cool but high enough that you don't have to idle over speed bumps and pot holes to prevent bottoming out. Adjusting firmness of the shocks is easy, my only complaint being that the little plastic end caps are extremely fragile and easy to lose when unpacking the box... I'm currently missing one for this reason. Overall, great product for the money.

how much of a gap do you have left between wheel and fender now? (front and back) what size rims are you running? I'm really considering getting this exact setup but can't find anyone that has it.

Per Tokico, they drop the car 1.25"

I have these on my 89 civic DX. And they ride nice, not too bouncy, but in my opinion not stiff enough, sometimes, I even forget that my car is lowered. But for the price it's a great deal!

how much of a gap do you have on your hatch?

I think they'll be stiff enough considering i'm putting on a new sway bar with it and i'm more worried about getting a good ride than road racing lately.
