actually broke two. but im askin would the honda dealership have the valve cover bolts (or do i have to drive all the way to acura because its farther)?

 

are they the outer studs or the inner ones ? im not sure if they are the same length or not , just go to the honda dealer and see if they have any in stock , doubt it . dont you have any friends with spare parts ? hit those guys up first .

 

we dont even have a acura dealer around here... just go to the honda one they will have them.

i doubt they will have em in stock but they can get them in a few days.

i have broke 2 already hehe. But the second time i orderd one i got a spare so i will be ready next time. i think they are bout 4 bucks a pop

thanks honda is like 10-15 mins away and acura is like 45- hour haha thanks for the info. i was thinkin becuz the of the civic si they have to have b series parts

 

torque spec for b18b valve cover nuts is 7 ft.lbs

anyways.. ordering from the dealer takes about 1-2 days

 

get it from that website. MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT ONE, the outside ones are shorter so the inner ones wont work on the outside.

because the engine is the same in honda as in acura
the only difference witha b18 integra and a b18 civic is the valve cover
the honda says honda the acura just says DOHC

if u need them right away go 2 the dealership but if not go to acura carland i broke 2 on mine also when i put in my jdm valve cover cost me 46 some bucks from the fuken dealership but i needed my car running right away plus i didn't feel so bead when the dealer told me that it is normal 2 break them b/c the heat weakens the bolts over time
