I know alot of people are sick of this topic. Hell, I am a little sick of it as well. But none the less I have a question about it. I would like to know if anyone out there has carbon fiber hood, lip, wing....whatever that Does Not have a clear coat already on it. If so, where did you find it. I want the effect of the weight savings, and I generally like the way carbon fiber looks. I just don't like the glare that the hoods give off. Plus the paint on my car is 11 years old now and a bright shiny hood would deffinatly stand out a little bit more then I would like. Thanks.

dont usualy come with a clear
coat. You know you can edit your

How cheap of a hood are you talking about? I don't want one with a bad fit.

 

actually if im not mistaken, most of all the hood makers out there dont put a clear coat on them its a gel coat. Its sorta clear but not. Anyways a coat of clear on a hood would make it alot more blingy.
